More eyes, one official record
The keeper stays in control.
ScoreGlance treats spectators as people who can notice something, not as a jury. The public board may ask a state-aware question such as how many outs there are. The keeper sees the observation and deliberately decides what to record.
Repeated useful participation can become a game-scoped commitment to help keep score. It never gives someone scoring authority by accident.

Do I need an account or app?
No. ScoreGlance runs in a modern phone browser. Start a board or open a watch link without an account, install, or onboarding step.
Who controls the official score?
The person holding the private keeper link controls the official record. Moving scoring is a deliberate private handoff, not something the public watch link can do.
Can other people help keep the board accurate?
Yes. The board can ask people watching for a useful observation about count, outs, a batter, or bases. Those observations help the keeper, but they do not vote or automatically change the official score.
Can I track only the score?
Yes. Start score-only, or track more when it helps this game. Incomplete tracking is still useful tracking.
Are player names public?
No, not by default. Player names stay in browser-local roster storage. A person can deliberately share a private roster artifact, so share those links carefully.
How long does a game stay available?
A game is designed to be disposable and is deleted after 48 hours of inactivity. A discoverable listing ages out after 12 hours. ScoreGlance cannot recover an expired game.
Does ScoreGlance work for baseball and softball?
Yes. It is built for live baseball and softball scoreboards, with enough room to keep only the score or follow count and play details.
Is ScoreGlance an official scorebook?
No. It is a convenience scoreboard for following a live game. Official disputes and records belong with your league, officials, and official scorebook process.

ScoreGlance is currently a free browser service. There is no account or payment flow in the product today.
